Litran goes safety-first
Safety is a top priority for Litran. Their motto is: “I work safely or I don’t work at all!” To drive the message home to all employees – and make them more aware of the risks of unsafe behaviour on site – we got to work on all their safety literature. And not a moment too soon.
Updated site posters
Last year was pivotal for Litran, which spun off from Visser Smit Hanab under a new name and brand profile. As a consequence of that change, the safety literature had to first be updated. Safety is the number one priority. That’s why we gave the traditional safety awareness posters in the worksite cabin a modern makeover. The cartoon style was kept, but rather than one character to represent the concept of the Interactive Safety Consultation, we created a dynamic trio – Isa, Sam and Charlie. These three characters reflect the diversity of the teams and convey their safety message in realistic, recognisable situations. The look is fresher, more digital and more modern.
Safety booklet in four languages
The safety booklet was also updated in terms of both design and userfriendliness. A new QR code leads straight to a Litran website landing page. There you can download the booklet in Dutch, French, English and Turkish. The four versions were printed at our own printshop and circulated among the teams. That ensures that every employee has the tools they need to work safely – in a language they understand. Because safety is based on clear communication, we don’t have to spell it out.
