AEG Keeps on Influencing

When it comes to influencer marketing, AEG is no newcomer. The home appliance manufacturer has long been convinced of its added value in their marketing mix. Here's an update on how we’ve continued to successfully influence and create ready-to-use content over the past few months.

Ambassadors in Action

How do you capture the attention of kitchen and cooking enthusiasts? AEG sticks to a proven recipe: have your ambassadors—a select group of top chefsshare their culinary skills using AEG appliances with a small but passionate group of culinary influencers; bring them together for a workshop or cooking session where the chefs treat the foodies to their finest creations; and reap the rewards of the buzz that the influencers then generate through their channels among their loyal fans. Return on influencer marketing guaranteed.

Influencers Share Their Experiences

At the workshops we recently organized with chefs David Martin (La Paix**) and Filip Claeys (De Jonkman**), we invited a select group of micro-influencers. This was a deliberate choice, as we wanted to create a maximum experience and impact. While David Martin mainly inspired his French-speaking guests with his dishes and gave them a taste of what’s possible with an AEG steam oven, Filip Claeys also got his mostly Dutch-speaking group involved hands-on. During and after both cooking sessions, the influencers shared the experience with their followers all over Belgium (and beyond) through Instagram. Their posts, reels, stories, and videos were a big hit! One of our content creators was also present and produced a short movie from each session, which AEG posted on its own social media channels.

Chef-Generated Content

Together with the chefs, we created an extra batch of content in the form of short recipe videos. Chicory wrapped in ham à la Martin or Filip’s fish balls, all straight from the steam oven? We produced a whole series, shared through AEG’s own channels and made available to the influencers. Ready-to-consume quality content that had their followers licking their fingers.

And finally: AEG doesn’t collaborate only with David Martin and Filip Claeys. The brand has a range of chefs ready to inspire and inform influencers. For instance, following our trusted approach, we already organized a session with Michaël Sels, head dietitian at UZ Antwerp and host of his own TV show on the cooking channel Njam! And there are plenty more ambassadors we can engage in the future to keep fueling our influencer marketing campaigns.

So yes, we’ll be influencing for AEG for quite a while longer.
