Chez Nous Cannes, the high-end network event for the construction and real estate industry is an increasingly international affair. After 10 successful editions, the 850 guests at this year’s event decamped to a breath-taking venue on the French Riviera. Our teams played their part in ensuring the communication and the event itself were ‘magnifique’ as always.
Chez Nous Cannes is a date in mid-March Belgian C-suite construction and real estate industry executives have come to look forward to. The invite-only event in the French bathing resort has taken on an increasingly international character over its first 10 years and the community now has members from across Europe. The organisers wanted to get back to their roots for the 2023 edition, with a venue closer to the centre of town, a new house style and a renewed focus on networking in pleasant surroundings.
Exclusive network event
This year’s network event decamped to Villa Julia, an elite venue that offers an awesome view of the Bay of Cannes. Some 850 guests, the most ever, accepted the invitation and came to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the great company. The flawless organisation – our teams were responsible for accreditation and reception – and the high-grade catering were la cerise sur le gâteau.
We took care of the communications with the Chez Nous Cannes community all year through in monthly newsletters. For this edition we took things to another level, redesigning the house style with a nod to the original design, developing a new website and producing an upgraded version of the app. We handled the event invitation and registration flow through the app, which functions as a sort of internal LinkedIn platform. Incidentally, as the community becomes increasingly international, we’ve now switched the language to English.
We took care of the communication, website, accreditation and hospitality.
Compelling video content
As in years gone by, TV station Kanaal Z was also in attendance to produce reports for its Z-Cocktail feature. Our video team prepared the organisers by drawing up scenarios to keep the interviews on track. We also took the opportunity to point our camera at the 26 partner companies for a soundbite about the value of Chez Nous Cannes. The footage will be used in the upcoming monthly newsletters.
